Celebrate exemplary service with an Annual Service Award nomination!
Now is your chance to showcase your Rec Department, Staff and Colleagues by submitting a nomination or application for a NIRSA Award. The NIRSA Annual Service Awards celebrate the efforts of members in our community who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their volunteer service. Every year, up to six professional members, three student members, and two groups are recognized for their outstanding contributions to NIRSA and the field of collegiate recreation. Awards are given to members who demonstrate exceptional performance during the previous year in leadership and development of NIRSA programs, policies, events, special projects, or committees.
The NIRSA Annual Service Award recognizes one-time or cumulative efforts made through April 30 of the year of nomination. For 2022 awards, the dates of service must fall between May 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021.
Nominations for the 2022 Award are being accepted now and the nomination period will remain open through November 16, 2021. Please consider submitting a nomination today—your nomination makes a difference!
