On behalf of Region II and the Award of Merit Selection Committee, we are pleased to announce David Peters as this year’s Regional Award of Merit winner!
Dave currently serves as the Senior Associate Director of Campus Recreation at Florida State University. During his time with NIRSA, Dave has served on numerous committees and work teams, served as the Region II Representative from 2014-2016, and was the chair of the Member Network during the 2016-2017 term. You may recognize him as the voice of several championship events hosted by the NIRSA Championship Series. He also is the current co-host of the Series Talk podcast for the NIRSA Championship Series.
Dave was recognized during the Region II Connection Meeting in February as part of the NIRSA Virtual Annual Conference. The recording of the meeting will be posted on the Region II website.
