Volunteer Opportunities

Below is a list of possible volunteer opportunities available for the NIRSA Region II Conference.

Mock Interviews

Mock interviewers will provide feedback to students during brief mock interviews during the Employer Meet & Greet, which takes place Thursday, October 19 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Click here to sign-up to be a mock interviewer.

Resume Review

Help review student resumes and cover letters by providing notes and trips. Resumes will be reviewed on your own time and returned to the registration desk by Wednesday evening. Click here to sign-up to volunteer as a resume reviewer.

Registration/Information Table

Registration table volunteers welcome attendees to the conference by providing name badges and conference items to attendees upon their arrival to the convention center. The registration table will also serve as an information table throughout the conference. Click here to sign-up to volunteer at the registration table.

Session Monitors (Student Lead-On & Main Conference)

Session monitors provide assistance to presenters, introduce presenters, and make announcements prior to the educational session beginning. Click here to volunteer as a session monitor.

Registration Table

Join us to help staff the registration table and welcome conference attendees by providing name badges and conference swag upon their arrival to the convention center.

Student Lounge

Student Lounge volunteer opportunities include networking with undergraduate and graduate students during a variety of “Meet a Pro” and “Meet a GA” sessions, and serve as volunteers that will assist in checking students in for head shots, and welcoming/directing students during the Career Fair.
